Set up in 2009 by two vastly experienced communications professionals with successful backgrounds in broadcasting, journalism and PR all clients benefit from the direct input of our directors, Arti Halai and Steve Dann whether at the planning, strategic or operational level.

Arti Halai

Arti Halai is a presenter, reporter and producer with more than fifteen years experience in the media industry. She fronted ITV1’s regional news output, Central News across the Midlands. She has also worked for the BBC, ITN News Channel, Carlton, LWT, Mirror Group and Sunrise Radio.

Arti’s career started in 1992 and over the years she has covered numerous stories including the rise of India and Pakistan as nuclear powers, the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, critical reviews of the CRE and the European Parliament, previews of the London Eye and Tate Modern and celebrity interviews with the likes of Sir Richard Attenborough and Salman Rushdie.

Arti set up a successful business, A H Action in 2006.

Every year she is invited to present a number of live events. Arti hosts award ceremonies, annual dinners, is a conference facilitator and chairs panels at business breakfast seminars as well as doing live entertainment events

Arti is a Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a NLP Coach (INLPTA trained), holds a Certificate in Life Coaching from The Coaching Academy and BA (hons) Social Policy from the University of Sussex.

‘Positivity’ is her first book and was published in 2009.

Steve Dann

Steve DannSteve Dann is one of the Midlands most respected communications consultants and was named CIPR Professional of the Year in 2007.

After training as a journalist on local newspapers Steve became chief reporter of the Dudley Herald before moving into PR consultancy in his early 20s. He joined Seal Communications as an account manager in 1983 and progressed rapidly through the ranks to become Managing Director. He later led a successful management buy-out of the business and went on to develop Seal into one of the UK’s leading integrated PR and marketing firms, growing the company organically and through a number of strategic acquisitions, before selling the firm in 2005.

During his time in PR consultancy Steve has worked for a diverse range of companies within the pub and brewing, retailing, property, business to business, tourism and the public sectors. He has also been responsible for developing both high profile and award winning PR campaigns for numerous clients including Allied Domecq, the LTA, Halfords, Tourism Malaysia, Punch Taverns and Virgin Trains.
